Dear Sister~
The time has been fleeting ever so quickly now. It seems ages since I have seen you. Weren't we just shoveling snow?
So much has been happening that my head is a whirl. I have been spending time in Augusta of late as well as putting the finishing touches on Norlands. I am pleased so many folks from all over New England will be joining us at the homestead from June 5-7. I hope to see as many local folks there as well. Would be such a shame for them to miss out on such a wonderful time. www.norlands.org For the civilians, aside from spending time in Unity visiting and sharing talents, there will be a fashion show and tea. We will be discussing 'Uncle Tom's Cabin' in character so if anyone is indeed attending, they may wish to read it or bring a copy to read along. I also have a wonderful authoress coming in to read in French from Uncle Tom's Cabin as well as violin music, possibly a banjo player to round it out. The tea will run into the fashion show and the guests are welcome to sit and relax and watch the show. I am still hoping for ladies and gentlemen interested from the 20th ME to contact me to be a part of the fashion show as well as the other activities. We are awfully confederate heavy in volunteers... and none from the 20th.
Also... anyone having parts to the 20th Me Clothesline, please get them to Paul Smith at SOS. We will be needing them for the photo booth at Norlands. If anyone has any old clothes they would like to allow us to use, please mark them with your name and bring them as well. We are in need of uniforms and children's item. Thank you.
I shall be coming south for a bit as it has been too long and mother says I am needed again, but will be back to Maine by month's end.
Your loving sister,
Christabell
