Ladies and gentlemen of the 20th, If any of you have any clothing items that you no longer have a use for, if you would be so kind as to donate it to the Unit's collection for the Clothesline? It would be most appreciated. We are in desperate need of men's and children's articles especially. Anything that is donated, I will be happy to modify for us to use with the public. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Dear Sgt. Dudley,
I trust this finds you and your family well and adjusting to the sadness that had befallen you as of late. Know that you are all in my prayers.
I would like to share that while attending Chamberlain Days this weekend past, I was most honored at the request to share my knowledge of clothing. The presentation was a complete success, but would have been a most disastrous undertaking if not for the assistance of some special people. I would like to recognize them and give my most grateful appreciation to John W., Pvt Custer, and Mrs. Batty. They were a valuable asset for me in their support for my first local presentation. I look forward to future endeavors with the 20th ME Co. B.
Also, a heartfelt thanks to Mary W. for her guidance as well as her talent in including me in sharing the afternoon tea. I must say, some men are in desperate need of proper etiquette and manners, Oh my!!!
Lastly, I would like to share with those who were unable to attend that not only the weekend, but mostly the procession to the cemetery as well as the service honoring General Chamberlain was awe inspiring. Having General Chamberlain remembered so well by his family and friends is a memory I shall always cherish. I was honored to have been a part of such a moving experience.
My Best to Mrs. Dudley and your family, Warmest Regards, Miss Rose
